The First Aid squad supports an Explorer Post for persons 14 to 18 years of age who maintain a minimum average of C in school. The Post is active at South Brunswick High School and participation in the post is an excellent community service activity for CASE requirements or to list on a college application. The Post meets on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday and 4th Friday of each month. The Post elects its own leadership team. Currently, the Captain of the post is Nick who is a junior at South Brunswick High School and the Asst. Captain is Matt who is a junior at North Brunswick High School. |

The Post has two classes of membership, Class one and Class two.
Class one explorers must be at least 16 years old. Class one explorers, with the required training, can ride in the ambulance until 10:30 PM on most 911 emergency calls.
Class two explorers must be at least 14 years of age or a freshman in high school. Although these members cannot respond to 911 calls, they participate in all meetings, training sessions and community events.
Residents of all local towns are welcome to join.
